Known since the early twentieth century were a combination of folk dances and parlor. They are divided into standard dances: English waltz, Viennese, tango, foxtrot and quickstep, Latin: samba, cha-cha, rumba, jive and Pasodoble and utility. They differ in tempo, music and costumes. Only once danced at balls, today there are styles performed at the World Ballroom Dance Tournament.
