"Kizomba overwhelmed all my life"
Dorota as a child was bound with music and dance, she graduated from music school in violin class. But her love for dance has always been stronger and led her to ballroom and other dance forms, which at that time ruled the school dance teams. So when she met salsa she gave herself to this dance, learning from the best salseros in Poland Cross body. In 2006 she moved to the UK and here quickly developed her skills in Cuban salsa by learning from Ullises Montalvo, Osbanis, Iris de Brito, Moe Flex.
In 2008, she fell in love with Kizomba and gave herself entirely to this passion.
The people responsible for this are the first teachers and mentors like Miguel Monteiro and Marlene Almeida and Kwenda Lima, who gave her the best base knowledge and passed on the culture of Palop Countries. Honed her skills under the direction of Iris de Brito, Albir Rojas and Sara Lopes, Paula Loureiro and Ricardo Sousa, Petchu and Vanessa. This passion brought her to organize a workshop with Kwenda Lima and Sara Lopez and Albir Rojas in Bristol in 2011. She assisted with teaching the Miguel Monteiro, Kwenda Lima, Iris de Brito, Petchu and developed her lady styling with Marlene Almeida, Mafalda Amado and Sara Lopez
She joined the BCfm in 2011, trained and started her adventure with the legends of radio Steve Satan (Bruce Williamson). September 2012 she was ready to start her own radio show Dorota's Dance World present kizomba and other music from Palop countries to Bristol audience ,which is continuing with success.
